This journey began when one of our dogs was dying from cancer. Our vet explained that some ingredients in commercial food are cancer causing. Using a recipe from a 1986 Harrowsmith Magazine as a guide, I developed my own that used only local ingredients.  Today, that recipe has evolved and improved but we still use local ingredients that provide dogs with a clean, tasty option to mass produced, commercial treats.
