Product Description
Built in 1817 and re-imagined for the 21st century, Whitney Manor combines timeless elegance with modern amenities and luxury in the heart of the 1000 Islands.
Predating the City of Kingston—and the country of Canada itself —this property was built over two hundred years ago by a Scotsman in the military who decided to stay in the area after the war of 1812. This three-storey limestone structure was an architectural marvel at the time and although it was just built for just a single family, the sprawling estate had separate servant quarters, its own ballroom, and even a Chapel for church services. The building has since been renovated and upgraded, but the original architectural design remains intact, leading to a wonderfully unique mixture of modern amenities with an old-world charm.
As a self-catered accommodation, each suite acts as its own luxury apartment offering guests a chance to relax and enjoy their stay in a setting that offers so much more than your typical shoe-box size hotel room. In all of our one and two bedroom suites you’ll find a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living and dining area, a private balcony or patio, in-suite laundry, and so much more!
