Following the March break announcement, Canadians who are out of the country have been strongly urged to return. This is due to the risk of ‘new restrictions’ being implemented with little notice.
The province has recommended the closure of all non-essiential businesses such as recreation programs, private schools, daycares, and churches. As well as resturants and bars except those who offer takeout and delivery.
Not long after this, Ford has declared a state of emergency which meant there was no choice for non-essential businesses to close down until the lockdown is lifted.
