Canada released their first projections of what the pandemic will look like by the end of April if measures aren’t followed. Along with this, the list of businesses that are deemed ‘non-essential’ is growing to try to curb the virus.
By April 14, the lockdown is extended an additional 4 weeks with the focus being on long-care homes. They have become the epicentre of crisis on Ontario, therefore they need the most resources in an effort to curb cases.
Not long after, the first case in North-western Ontario has been reported in an indigenous community. At this point the province totals, 5,276 and 174 deaths.
