I became inspired to become a Naturopathic Doctor after witnessing the burden that chronic disease had on many family members, feeling helpless, wanting to assist, but not knowing how. It is when I worked in Community Medicine at the University of Calgary focusing on mental health and social determinants of health where I was introduced to Naturopathic Medicine. This sparked my calling to help others in a direct way. I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) where I completed a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (ND). I also hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from McGill University.
I work as a health detective to identify the root causes of your health concerns and whatever obstacles are preventing you from reaching your goals. I empower, educate and motivate my patients to reaching their optimal health.
In addition to supporting general wellness and seasonal care (eg. cold and flu, allergies, seasonal affective disorder), I focus on mood regulation (eg. anxiety, depression, stress management), digestive concerns and hormonal imbalances.
Using natural therapies, I am passionate about health, my goal is to inspire others to make positive lifestyle choices to enjoy healthier lives. The principle of ‘Doctor as Teacher’ has always resonated with me and I believe that by providing patients with knowledge and tools, they become empowered to reach their optimal level of health.
